Visiting the Fitzwilliam can be daunting due to its size and variety of its galleries. We will take you straight to key exhibits, many of which are not well highlighted. After your tour you may choose to return to your favourite galleries and linger over the items that most interest you.

    Fitzwilliam Museum

    The Fitzwilliam Museum houses the art collection of the University of Cambridge. It is one of the best regional collections of art and antiquities in the UK. With over half a million objects and artworks, it is vast and varied. Our introductory tour will take you to key exhibits, hidden treasures and a few of the guide's personal favourites. Paintings on display include works by Titian, Monet, Picasso, Rubens, van Gogh, Renoir, Rembrandt, Cezanne, Van Dyck and Canaletto. The museum also has important collections from ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome.
