    After getting to know the old warehouse district, continue by foot to Hamburg’s HafenCity, and see the building that many Hamburgers consider to be the ‘best office building in the world.’ Then, visit the district’s enormous harbor, where some of the world's largest yachts have been spotted. Luxury vessels, such as the Queen Mary 2 and Russian businessman Roman Abramovich’s superyacht Eclipse, are regularly seen here. Soak up the views along the River Elbe and over the harbor, and then stroll back to the start point where your tour ends.

    Meet your German-speaking guide at Baumwall station in Hamburg’s fascinating Speicherstadt, a neighborhood widely considered to be the largest warehouse district in the world. This ancient trading area grew quickly over the 19th century, buying and selling everything from carpets and coffee to spices from afar. While learning about the area from your guide, you will receive interesting information about coffee, spices and traditional oriental carpets.
