Meet your private guide at the St Pauli train station at the time of your choice (since this is Hamburg’s nightlife district, so an evening time is best). After your drink, or if you decided not to upgrade, stroll past a host of music venues, flashy nightclubs, discotheques and restaurants that come alive at night with Hamburg’s nighttime crowd. Look out for the popular Zur Ritze boxing club. Explore the Grosse Freiheit and Herbertstrasse, two streets that form part of St Pauli’s red-light district — one of the largest in Europe. Hear about what happens on the infamous Reeperbahn street on late nights, giving St Pauli its sometimes seedy reputation. Continue onward to another bar to enjoy your choice of beer or a soft drink while hearing more stories about St Pauli and its institutions, such as the legendary Davidwache police station, which serves the red-light district.You'll also see bars where The Beatles played before they became famous and discover the little-known peculiarities of the Elbe Tunnel (Alter Elbtunnel.)
