    Kathmandu

    Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal! When you land at the airport, our Asian Heritage Treks and Travels representative will be there to greet you with a sign displaying your name. They will take your luggage and guide you to our private vehicle, which will drive you to your hotel. On the way to the hotel, you will pass by some interesting places, like the Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO Heritage Site. You will also catch a glimpse of Royal Palace Museum, also known as Narayanhity, from outside. As you approach Thamel, you'll see the Garden of Dreams by the roadside. After your arrival and setting into the hotel, our representative will be there to assist you and go over your travel plans. Once the formalities are taken care of, you'll have time to venture out and explore the charming streets of Thamel. Make the most of your stay and enjoy moment!

    Kathmandu to Gatlang via Syabrubeshi

    Langtang Valley Trek

    Your second day will start after breakfast as you begin your Langtang Valley Trek adventure. You'll take an 8-9 hour drive from Kathmandu to Gatlang. During the journey, you'll enjoy amazing views of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and Annapurna as the road climbs over a ridge. Note: Keep your TIMS and National Park Permit handy, as you'll need to show them at the Park Gate before reaching Dhunche. After driving for about an hour downhill from Dhunche, you'll reach Sayabru Besi. from there, the road will lead you into the Langtang National Park and you'll notice that human settlements become less frequent at higher altitudes. Gatlang is a beautiful Tamang Village with terraced hills and friendly locals know for their warm hospitality.

    Gatlang to Nagthali (3,165m), Hiking Duration: 6-7 Hours

    Langtang National Park

    Today, you will go on hiking trip from Gatlang to Nagthali. To get to Nagthali, you will walk on a path from Chilime. On the way, you'll pass through a thick forest where you might see Nepal Gray Langur Moneys. After walking for a while, you'll reach an open grassland with breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including the Ganesh Himal, Langtang Range, and the Sanjen Ranges. Once you pass the grassland, you'll arrive at Nagthali. Nagthali used to be a famous meditation center for local monks and priests.

    Nagthali to Briddhim via Thuman (2,338m), Hiking Duration: 6-7 Hours

    Langtang Valley Trek

    Today, you will begin your day with a walk downhill for about an hour to reach Thuman. Thuman is a village influenced by Tibetan culture and is known for its beautiful natural surroundings and unique cultural heritage. During the trek, you'll see breathtaking view of the Langtang Himalayan range. The people there are friendly, and they love singing and dancing. After that, we'll continue walking through rhododendron forests and meadows towards Briddhim, another Tamang community with Tibetan influences, located near the Langtang Himalayas. In Briddhim, you'll have the chance to experience the Tamang people's special culture, traditions, and way of life. The Tamang community is known for its warm hospitality and takes pride in its rich heritage. In the springtime, the trial to Briddhim is especially beautiful as the rhododendron forest blooms. We'll also enjoy traditional local cuisines and take part in cultural practices inspired by Briddhim.

    Briddhim to Sherpa Gaun, Hiking Duraiton: 5-6 Hours

    Langtang Valley Trek

    The hike starts from Briddhim and goes through beautiful forests, terraced fields, and charming villages. Sherpa Gaun is one of these villages, situated at a higher place with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Today, we'll climb to Khanjum village, passing through Chortens, Mani walls, and prayer flags on the way to Sherpa Gaun. The hike can be a bit challenging but it's generally considered moderate. You might see various plants and animals, like birds and Himalayan monkeys, as we pass through parts of Langtang National Park. During the hike, we'll enjoy stunning views of Langtang Lirung, Langtang II, Ganesh Himal, and other peaks of the Langtang range. Along the way, we'll have a chance to taste local Nepali and Sherpa food, which is delicious and will keep us energized. Sherpa Gaun offers an opportunity to experience Sherpa culture, tradition, and warm hospitality.

    Sherpa Gaun to Langtang Village, Hiking Duration: 6-7 Hours

    Langtang National Park

    On Day 6 of our Trek, you will have a challenging journey from Sherpa Gaun to Langtang Village. It will take about 6 to 7 hours to complete. you will climb up a steep forested slope, gaining about 1000 meters in total. The Langtang River's soothing sound will accompany us throughout the trek. One of the highlights is crossing a refreshing stream, and you'll also see water-driven prayer wheels, which are an important part of the local culture. As you climb higher, you'll reach Langtang Village, an ancient settlement with rich history. The Village offers breathtaking views of the surrounding majestic mountains. Today's hike will be tough, but it will be rewarding both physically and spiritually. you'll experience the rugged beauty and traditional practices of the region, making it an unforgettable adventure.

    Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa, Hiking Duration: 3-4 Hours

    Kyanjin Gompa

    Today's adventure will take you on a beautiful hike from Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa. Along the way, you'll see stunning views of Langtang Lirung Mountain. The trek will be filled with interesting things to see, like a big wall covered in prayers and writings on stones, which are very special to the local people and make the journey even more mysterious. During the hike, you'll get to cross several rivers, making it a thrilling experience. Each river crossing is unique and allows you to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Finally, you'll reach the peaceful village of Kyanjin Gompa. Here, you can try delicious cheese and curd made from yak milk, which adds to the authentic experience.

    Rest Day or Explore Kyanjin Gompa & Tserko Ri, Hiking Duration: 7-8 Hours

    Kyanjin Gompa

    Today is the best day of the trial! it's a rest day, but you can still enjoy yourself by getting used to the higher altitude, relaxing, and exploring the nearby places. Optional: You have the choice to explore the area around Kyanjin Gompa. You can hike up to Tserko RI, which is the highest point in the trek at 5,000m above sea level. From there, you'll see amazing views of the mountains, glaciers, and the Langtang Valley. After enjoying the scenery, we'll head back to Kyanjin Gompa in the afternoon. You can also take this opportunity to visit the ancient monastery of the village and check out the cheese factory and glacier. (No extra Cost is involved in these activities).

    Trek Back to Lama Hotel, Hiking Duration: 6-7 Hours

    Today, you have to walk 6 to 7 hours downhill through a dense forest to reach Lama Hotel. You will walk through the ethnic Tamang settlements where the people are influenced by Tibetan religion and cultural practices.

    Langtang Valley Trek

    Today marks the final day of your exhilarating trekking adventure. After a heavy breakfast at Lama Hotel, you will commence your trek towards Syabrubesi. The Trial leads you downhill, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape as you walk through the enchanting expanse of a lush green forest. The Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi typically takes 3 to 4 hours, providing you with spare time to savor the natural beauty and tranquility of the region one last time. Upon reaching Syabru Besi, it's time to bid farewell to the mountains and continue your journey back to Kathmandu. The scenic drive back takes approximately 6 to 7 hours, during which you can reflect on the incredible experiences and memories you've gathered throughout the trek. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you will be comfortably transferred to your hotel, where you can rest and relax after this fulfilling and adventurous journey.

    Today is a free day for you in Kathmandu. You can spend your day on your personal activities. You can have enough rest or if you're interested then you can go to stroll around the streets of Thamel or you can got for shopping souvenirs for your family and friends.     Tribhuvan International Airport

    Your trip will come to an end today after breakfast. You will be advised and assisted with your onward travel arrangements and transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by our private vehicle approximately 3 hour before departure of your flight schedule and flight back to your home/other travel destination. Have a safe journey onwards. And we hope to see you again.
