Mohare Danda takes you to the peaceful beaten path in Annapurna's foothills. Mohare Danda Trek is a newly discovered hiking route in the Annapurna region to promote sustainable ecotourism of Nepal and to support the local community projects that play a pivotal role in the overall upliftment of the lifestyle of local and native inhabitants of people from here. This trek is popularly known as Eco-Community Lodge Trek. It is the best choice for those enthusiastic travelers who have a short time to explore the unlimited cultural and natural beauties of Nepal. Mohare Danda trek provides the closest view of the massif Mount Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges from Mohare hill station at an elevation of 3300m above sea level. A trip to beautiful off the beaten site of the Annapurna region bounded by hills, mountains, rivers, and forests of Oaks, Bamboo, and Pine is truly an incredible experience.

    Kathmandu

    Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal. Asian Heritage Treks & Travel representative welcome you at the Airport with your nameplate. After Arrival at Nepal airport, we will transfer you to the hotel. On the way Airport to Hotel, you will pass by the (Pashupatinath temple), Royal Palace Museum i.e. Narayanhity, Garden Of Dreams, and reach the Thamel. Your hotel will be downtown at Touristic Hub. Our representative will facilitate you and discuss your travel itinerary.

    Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley- Kathmandu Durbar Square - Swayambhunath stupa - Pashupatinath Temple - Boudhanath Stupa

    Swaymbhunath

    In the morning, we will proceed to Swayambhunath, also known as the monkey temple. This sacred site offers a captivating display of religious harmony and tolerance, as it is a place where both Buddhist and Hundus traditions coexist peacefully. While exploring Swayambhunath, you will have the opportunity to witness this unique blend of faiths. Additionally, you can savor the breathtaking panoramic view of Kathmandu city and the majestic Himalayan ranges from this vantage point.

    Boudhanath Stupa

    Next, we will head towards Boudhanath stupa, an ancient structure dating back to 600 A.D. Once we arrive, you will have the opportunity to explore the captivating surroundings of Boudhanath. This magnificent stupa is an architectural marvel and a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site. Take your time to soak in the serene atmosphere and appreciate the intricate details of the stupa.

    Pashupatinath Temple

    Following Boudhanath, our next stop will be the renowned Pashupatinath Temple. This significant pilgrimage site holds great importance for Hindu devotees across Southeast Asia. You will have the opportunity to explore the temple grounds and witness the ritual body cremation ceremonies conducted on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. This powerful experience provides insight into Hindu customs and traditions. We will also visit Guhyeshwori Temple, which lies adjacent to Pashupatinath Temple.     Thamel

    Our last stop will be Thamel, a lively and vibrant area in Kathmandu. Thamel is well-known for its busy shops, tasty restaurants, and stores selling handcrafted items. Here, you can do some shopping and buy souvenirs, crafts, and local products to remember your trip. After exploring Thamel, we'll take you back to your hotel so you can rest and think about all the wonderful experiences of the day.

    Kathmandu to Pokhara Drive Duration:5-6 hours

    Pokhara

    Today, we will drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. On the way, you can enjoy the greenery around you and the beautiful hills. What attracts most visitors to Pokhara is the richness of the valley with its pure and natural beauty. Just imagine the joy of observing the majestic Himalayas, reflecting its shadow on Fewa Lake and the cleanness of Pokhara city. The Pokhara Valley is equally outstanding, giving as they do elevated close-ups of the snowy peaks. Pokhara is famous for sightseeing, mountain views, and many adventurous outdoor activities.

    Drive from Pokhara to Galeshwor & hike to Bans Kharka (1525 m), Driving Duration: 3 hours Hiking Duration: 3 hours

    In the morning, our team will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Galeshwor along the bank of Kali Gandaki river which takes about 3 hours. Start trekking to Bans Kharka for about 3 hours. From Galeshwor, you will be mostly ascending up and on the way, you will be crossing the suspension bridge over the deepest gorge "Kali Gandaki River". Then your path will take you through the lush green forest and after some decent hike you will reach Bans Kharka.

    Trek to Naangi (2230 m), Hiking Duration: 7 hours

    Our destination for the day is Naangi. It is about a 6 to 7 hours walk from Bans Kharka to reach Naangi which goes along beautiful villages, stunning views of mountains, and impressive landscapes. We also visit an organic farm school and Magar settlement on this day.

    Trek to Mohare Danda (3300 m), Hiking Duration: 7 hours

    Continuing our trekking, we reach our destination i.e. Mohare Danda. The trail goes through beautiful forests of Oak and Rhododendrons with magnificent views of mountains such as Mt. Fishtail, south Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Tukche, and many more. In the evening, you will observe a glorious sunset view from Mohare Danda station and after completing your sightseeing get back to the eco-community management lodge.

    Mohare Danda to Ghorepani Hiking Duration: 5 hours

    Ghorepani

    Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise view and crystal clear views of mountains such as Mount Fishtail, Dhaulagiri I, Dhaulagiri II, Tukche, South Annapurna, Nilgiri, and others. Afterward, start your trek toward Deurali. Today your trail will lead you through the gradual ups and downs until you reach Ghorepani. It is about a 5-hour walk to reach Ghorepani from Mohare Danda. Upon arrival check in the lodge and have rest.

    Ghorepani to Ghandruk village (1940 m) via Poonhill (2853 m), Hiking Duration: 6/7 hours

    Ghandruk

    Today, You will begin the trek to Poon Hill (3210m) in the early morning to catch the first ray of sunlight. The pleasant sunrise at Poonhill trek passes through culturally rich villages that are set against the background of majestic mountains. Along with a sunrise view over Mt. Annapurna, Poonhill also offers panoramic views of several mountains including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountains. You will return and have your breakfast at Ghorepani, and then commence the trek to Ghandruk village. As the trail moves across a group of flatlands, forests, cultivated lands, and a suspension bridge over Khumbu Khola, you arrive at the scenic & beautiful village of Ghandruk after hiking for 6 to 7 hours. A supreme vantage point in this pristine & serene village offers breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre, and Hiunchuli.

    Trek to Nayapul & drive to Pokhara (820 m), Hiking Duration: 4 hours, Driving Duration: 45 minutes

    Pokhara

    Today is the last day of our program. After breakfast, you will descend to Nayapul and to reach Nayapul it will take you around 5 hours. Following the trail paved by stones; you will walk through some beautiful villages and terrace framings. After crossing Modi Khola, you will reach Birethanti. And then half an hour's walk from Birethanti, you will enter Nayapul and from here, our private vehicle will be waiting for you. On reaching Pokhara, you will be transferred to your hotel.

    Pokhara – Kathmandu Drive duration: 6-7 hours

    Kathmandu

    You will drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. On the way, you can see the beautiful hills and slopes. Later, you can stroll through the streets of Thamel for shopping. You can also buy souvenirs for your friends and family.

    Bhaktapur Durbar Square

    Bhaktapur Durbar Square is one of the three famous king squares in Kathmandu Valley. Here you find beautiful temples and your guide will explain the history of this unique place. Here, you will have free time where you can enjoy your Nepali or any international cuisine as per your choice.

    Pottery Square

    After lunch, we will pay a visit to Pottery Square where many local handicraft men are making traditional clay pots. We have arranged for you to participate in a workshop where a local craftsman will teach you how to make such clay pot yourself.

    Patan Durbar Square

    we will end our tour by driving you to one of the ancient cities inside Kathmandu Valley i.e. Patan Durbar Square for sightseeing. In Patan, you will be visiting other UNESCO World Heritage sites: Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square. Later on, visit the Patan Museum, where you can learn more about the history of Patan and the kings who reigned here. Later, visit the Golden Temple, a major attraction for both Hindu and Buddhist people, and Banglamukhi Temple. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped at your respective hotel.

    Tribhuvan International Airport

    Your trip will come to an end today. You will be advised and assisted with your onward travel arrangements and transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by our private van around 3 hours before your flight schedule and flight back to your home/other travel destination.
