The Annapurna Base Camp Trek starts with a short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul from where the trekking starts and goes through Ulleri, Ghorepani, Poonhill, Tadapani, Chhomrong, Bamboo, and Deurali before reaching ABC. Waking up at ABC will be one of the most memorable mornings of your life since the oval shape of ABC is surrounded by mountains and offers a magnificent sunrise. On the way back the trek will make a detour to Jhinu Danda, from where you can enjoy the natural hot springs in the Modi Khola River.

You will be welcomed at Kathmandu International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Thamel. The rest of the day you have time to explore the area. In the afternoon, you will have a briefing at your hotel lobby where you receive all necessary information regarding your trip.

Embark on a fascinating journey through time as you explore the magnificent palaces, temples, and courtyards that make up this historical gem.
After that, we will proceed to Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, a sacred Buddhist stupa perched atop a hill. Climb the 365-stone steps to reach the stupa and be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. Explore the beautiful stupa, pagodas, and shrines, and immerse yourself in the peaceful ambiance.
Then we will head to Boudhanath Stupa which is one of the largest stupas in Nepal and an important pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists. Take a leisurely stroll around the stupa, spinning the prayer wheels and soaking in the spiritual atmosphere. Witness monks and locals performing their rituals and prayers, adding to the authenticity of the experience.
Pokhara is a great area to relax, wander around, shop, or have a drink in one of the lake-side bars.
In the morning, our guide will receive you and then drive you to Nayapul, which acts as the gateway to most of the destinations in the Annapurna region. From Nayapul, you will start hiking to Ulleri. As you ascend, you’ll see many terraced farm fields along the hills and the fresh air gushing in your face makes for a pleasant hike as you enjoy the landscape. After a while, you’ll reach Tikhedhunga and from there, the trail is hard and straight uphill until you reach Ulleri.
Continuing our trek, we will head towards the forest and slowly onward to, Ghorepani. The trail is much easier than the day before and much more enjoyable as we pass through amazing rhododendron and pine forests while crossing little bridges. Hiking for some time, we’ll reach the Nangethathi low and further on to Ghorepani village. From upper Ghorepani, we could observe the great view of the magnificent Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and many more mountains.
In the early morning, you will start trekking from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3210m) and then to Tadapani (2610m). You will begin the trek to Poon Hill (3210m) in the early morning to catch the first ray of sunlight. The pleasant sunrise at Poonhill trek passes through culturally rich villages that are set against the background of majestic mountains. Along with a sunrise view over Mt. Annapurna, Poonhill also offers panoramic views of several mountains including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountains. You will return and have your breakfast at Ghorepani, and then commence the trek to Tadapani (2610 m). The trek will begin through the thick forest of rhododendrons, bamboo, and oaks. One can observe and appreciate nature’s beauty; waterfalls, rocks, wild animals, birds, and green valleys.
From Tadapani, we descend down and cross the Kimrung River. Then, we will walk alongside the rice fields and little settlement beside the river bank and then ascend to reach Chhomrong. From Chhomrong, we will have a fantastic view of Fishtail and Annapurna South.
We will start our hike with a steep way down until we cross the Chhomrong Khola River. After the bridge, we will climb up to reach Sinuwa. After some rest, we will continue our walk through the rocky steps and beautiful bamboo forests. Then we will reach the settlement Bamboo (2300 m) in the early afternoon. Bamboo is famous for its large Lemurs colonies and with a little luck; we can see one of them in the trees around our lodge.
We will start our hike to Deurali through Dovan village and the Himalayan hotel while crossing beautiful rhododendron and bamboo forests. After a little settlement, there is a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here, we can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali (2920 m).
Continuing our trek, we will follow the trail alongside the scenic Modi Khola River. As we ascend for about 40 minutes, we will reach MBC, where we will catch our breath before proceeding to the unique and spectacular setting of Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Nestled in an oval-shaped plateau, surrounded by towering mountains, ABC is also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. Here, we come face to face with the majestic Annapurna I (8091 m/26,545 ft), and witnessing the breathtaking sunrise makes every step worthwhile.
Indulge in the captivating spectacle of the sunrise at Annapurna Base Camp, where you can witness nature's enchanting display. Afterward, you have the option to embark on a hike to Hiuchuli Base Camp or simply relish the day in your preferred manner.
We will find ourselves face-to-face with the magical Annapurna I (8091 m). The oval shape of the so-called sanctuary will give you amazing views of the surrounding mountains which makes it a morning you will never forget. The sunrise and views at ABC cannot be compared to anything else in the world. After breakfast at ABC, we go back to MBC and descend to Bamboo.
Leaving Bamboo, we will continue our walk on the same trail which we used before to reach Chhomrong. We will leave our previous path and walk steeply down to a nice place called Jhinu Danda. We will leave our bags in the lodge and climb down to take a relaxing bath in the hot springs of the Modi Khola River.
On the last day of the trek, we will walk through a beautiful area with small villages and fields of rice. We will enjoy the plants & flowers and see lots of colorful butterflies along the way. It takes about an hour and a half to reach Kyumi, and then we walk to Syauli Bazar. From there, it's another two-hour walk to Nayapul, where our Annapurna Base Camp Trek officially ends. We arrive in Nayapul in the late afternoon and take a car back to Pokhara.
Today, we will go on a drive to Chitwan National Park. There, you'll get to visit a Tharu village and experience its traditional culture. You can talk to the local people and learn about their way of life. They will serve you tea made in a clay teapot, which is quite special. After that, you'll be treated to a performance of the Tharu stick dance and dhaan naach, which are traditional dances of the Tharu community. Later, you can relax by the riverside and enjoy the stunning sunset while spotting various birds and wild animals.
Today, we're going to explore the jungle. We'll start by driving deep into the forest in a local jeep to find the tiger's footprints. You'll also have a chance to see other animals like the one-horned rhino, Asian elephant, Spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Hog Deer, Samber, Swamp Deer, Black Buck, Bull, Wild Boar, Wild Dog, Leopard, and many more. After the jungle safari, we'll go on a canoe trip. You'll ride a canoe along the Rapti River and get to see different kinds of birds during the trip.
You will drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu. On the way, you can see the beautiful hills and slopes. Later, you can stroll through the streets of Thamel for shopping. You can also buy souvenirs for your friends and family.
Today, you’ll drive to one of the ancient cities inside Kathmandu Valley i.e. Patan Durbar Square for sightseeing. In Patan, you will be visiting other UNESCO World Heritage site Patan Durbar Square and other nearby temples. Later on, visit the Patan Museum, where you can learn more about the history of Patan and the kings who reigned here. Later, visit the Golden Temple, a major attraction for both Hindu and Buddhist people, and Banglamukhi Temple.
After that, we will visit Bhaktapur. The city has done a great job of preserving its old architecture, so you'll be amazed by the buildings there. You'll see beautiful wood-carved structures all around Bhaktapur. Take your time to explore the area and then visit the Nyatapola Temple, which is one of the largest temples in Nepal. While you're there, you can also participate in a pottery-making class where they use traditional methods.
You will also visit Pottery Square. Here, you can also take the pottery-making class using traditional methods. You will be taught to design your pot and once you have your basic shape hammered out, you can even choose to adorn your creation with beautiful patterns and inscriptions.
You will be advised and assisted with your onward travel arrangements and transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by our private vehicle around 3 hours before your flight schedule and flight back to your home/other travel destination. Have a safe journey onward. Hope to see you again.
