See Florida’s famous flamingos as well an abundance of other native animals and plants when you visit Flamingo Gardens in Ft Lauderdale. Observe animals such as alligators, panthers and peacocks, and stroll through lush gardens filled with butterflies and hummingbirds, ancient oak trees, orchids and bromeliads, and more. Walk into the large open aviary where birds fly free and check out the Wray Museum, which shows a typical South Florida home from the 1930s.
I-95 North or South to I-595 I-595 West to Flamingo Road/ Hiatus Road, combined Exit 2 & 3. Follow the signs for Flamingo Road Exit 2. Turn left on Flamingo Road South at the traffic light. Travel south 2.5 miles to traffic light at SW 36th Ct.. Flamingo Gardens is on the left (east side). Please be aware that I-595 is under construction and exit instructions may change from time to time.
Your admission to Flamingo Gardens takes you into a 60-acre (24-hectare) wildlife sanctuary with tropical botanical gardens and a large group of Florida's native rescued animals such as alligators, eagles, otters, bear, bobcats, panthers, peacocks, and, of course, flamingos. PLEASE NOTE: Tickets purchased through any site other than flamingogardens.org are for regular daytime admission ONLY (9:30 - 5pm). After-hours events, including holiday lights, are a separate ticketed event and are available only through the venue's website.
