Lunch in the most famous village of Maramures. Short walk in the village after lunch.
Visit the 18th century wooden church of Desesti, UNESCO heritage. This church shelters some of the best preserved interior painting.
The unavoidable attraction in Maramures is the Merry Cemetery in Sapanta, an unusually colorful place, unexpectedly reflecting the love of life of the locals – that’s what you’ll discover in the late afternoon.
