Olive oil is a basic element of the Mediterranean diet, where the most of the meals are served with an olive oil bottle on the side. For this reason, having this experience is a way of immersing yourself in the Catalan Culture.

Montserrat (Pass by)
You will see the fantastic shape of the Magic Mountain of Montserrat from the car, going to the winery. Once you arrive to the winery you will discover the old cellar and the new cellar.

We will visit a family business, an organic winery that began to cultivate their own vineyards and work in the wine world in 1885 and nowadays is the fifth generation who takes special care in the vineyard and make effort to give the maximum quality to their products. This experience also includes a visit to the winery which will give you the opportunity to visit a typical Catalan farmhouse and wander through the organic vineyards in its unique environment. We will get to know the local varieties like white Picapoll, sumoll , mandó and Red Picapoll, we will explore the production plant and the barrels room and finally, we will make a taste of two wines where they will explain us all about those wines accompanied by some appetizer. After our wine tasting experience, we will learn all about Olive Oil.

Walking along the millenary organic olive groves, you will enjoy the quietness of the landscape with the fantastic views of Montserrat Mountains. Visiting the workshop where this oil is produced you will learn how the process is carried out and, finally, you will enjoy and oil tasting with typical and organic Catalan products from Vall d’Hortons like cheese, honey and cold meat.
