Start your day with us on a fascinating journey to the heart of La Rioja, Spain’s most famous wine region, where you’ll be amazed by the breathtaking views of endless vineyards. Along the way, discover picturesque villages and the region’s rich winemaking history, visiting two exceptional wineries. Our first stop will be a historic traditional winery, where you’ll take a stroll through the vineyards and enjoy an outdoor tour, immersing yourself in winemaking tradition. Afterward, we’ll head to Laguardia, a medieval gem in Rioja Alavesa, home to over 300 underground wineries. Stroll through narrow streets, surrounded by ancient architecture, and explore one of these wineries to learn about the fascinating process of carbonic maceration, a unique technique that creates vibrant, fruity wines. You’ll also enjoy a tasting of their finest creations. At the end of the visit, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch in this charming village before returning (lunch not included)

Our first stop will be a traditional winery, a place steeped in history, full of charm and character. Discover an underground winery where you can learn about the winemaking process up close while savoring the authentic flavors of the region. Explore everything from grape harvest to fermentation and aging, with a focus on carbonic maceration – a unique process where whole grapes ferment in a carbon dioxide-rich environment, creating fruity, fresh wines.
