The Nyerere National Park boasts an enticing mix of abundant wildlife to explore. Spending some nights under African stars whilst canvas in the middle of wild bush, Selous game reserve creates good chances of spectacular view in various aspects, making every day different from the next. Guided game viewing on the boat, unlike in a vehicle, awakes good time and great golden memories for the entire lifetime.

The forest of Udzungwa acts as a water catchment area and do have a large number of endemic species of both animals and plants, the park has spectacular mountains scenery, grasslands, rocks, rivers and waterfalls. Among the few unique forested lands, Udzungwa has a biological diverse forest, harbouring exotic plant species found nowhere else in the world, which makes it are the most attracting of the forest park. The indigenous species of primates, the Iringa red colobus monkey and the Sanje Crested Mangabey, not known until 1979 are among the attractions.

    Dar es Salaam - Nyerere National Park

    Selous Game Reserve

    In the morning, pick you up from an agreed point in Dar es Salaam and depart to Nyerere National Park former Selous Game Reserve. Lunch to be served at the restaurant on the way to the game reserve. In the evening at 4 pm embark on a boat safari on Rufiji River, where you will admire Hippos and Crocodiles in their natural habitat. Dinner and overnight to be served at your campsite in Nyerere National Park.

    Full Day Game Drive at Nyerere National Park

    Selous Game Reserve

    The morning after breakfast, full day game drives in Nyerere park with a picnic lunch. Mind you that Selous G.R is larger than Switzerland and Denmark, that reserves the largest population of elephant in Tanzania as well as a large number of buffalo, Hippo, and Wild dog, others are Lion, Eland, bushbuck, giraffe, impala, baboon, zebra, Crocodile, the greater kudu and is the chance to see the rare Sable antelope. Drive back to your Kituri Camp for dinner and overnight.

    Wilderness Walking Safari – Udzungwa National Park

    Leave early morning to the park gate then launch a walking trip in the wilderness inside the park accompanied by an armed ranger guide who will guide you on walking to get close to the animals, plants, fingerprints, and animals drop for fine pictures inside the reserve. Then drive directly to Udzungwa National Park passing through the local villages and the range of Uluguru Mountain. On your arrival, you will get a shower and relax at Twiga Hotel for dinner and overnight.

    Hiking to the first campsite on Mwanihana Trail (12 kilometers)

    After breakfast, we trek to the first campsite. This trail exposes visitors to the montane forest and the heathland habitats of higher slopes. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger (there are elephants and buffalos in the forest). The campsite is next to a fresh mountain stream.

    Mwanihana Peak, 2150m (14km)

    Starting early for a trek through the changing forests. From miombo woodland through the low-land forest, sub-Montane forest, highland plateau to untouched Montane forest. Soon after you reach the bare rock and green glades of the summit. The view of Kilombero Valley is marvelous. Descend to the campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

    Descent to the park headquarter (12 kilometres)

    On this day you will depart start descends to the park gate to meet the driver. Finally, transferred to the bus stand and drive back to Dar es Salaam where we drive you will be dropped off at your accommodation for dinner and overnight at your hotel. This will mark the end of your adventure experience in Tanzania
