Day 1
Tambolaka airport - Ratenggaro village -Sunset Tanjung Mareha

Upon arrival at the airport of Tambolaka in Waitabula, meet and greet with your driver and guide, Explore Sumba Team. Before starting our journey, we will go to the local restaurant for lunch first. After that we will visit Ratenggaro Village. Here we will see the traditional high rooftops houses (actually the highest rooftops in whole Sumba) made all by hand and traditionally. This village is the only one of a few traditional villages left in the area, and while the village is just a compound of some houses, each house can accommodate up to 50 family members. On the harvesting season, however, most of the villagers will stay in their field to work and only leave the elders and child in the village. This village is beautiful because it built in front of the beach.

Then we will continuing our trip to Tanjung Mareha for sunset. Go back to the hotel, and dinner at local restaurant.

Day 2
Weekuri Lake – Mandorak Beach – Praijing Village – Wairinding Hill -heading to Waingapu City ,east sumba

Breakfast at hotel, today we will explore more the South West part of Sumba Island. We’re going to Kodi area, and we will make a visit to Weekuri Lake, a crystal-clear lake that makes it a great place to swim and to relax. Spend some time in the lake for taking a short (or long) dip. Do not miss to walk around the rocks and reef where you can also see the Oceans from one side.

Next to the Weekuri Lake we will find Mandorak Beach, guarded with 2 huge rock ridges pointing to the middle and crystal-clear water. Then we will drive to East Sumba, by stopping at local restaurant for lunch. After lunch,

we continuing our trip to Praijing Village. Praijing village is a traditional village uphill surrounded by lots of greenery. This is one of the few villages where we can actually have a beautiful overview of the entire village and draw an idea how the village is conducted. Take some time to walk around the village; the elders occupy most of the houses and kids are always around to share their smiles.

3 hours more to drive to arrive in East Sumba. Arriving in East Sumba, visit Wairinding Hill for sunset. Dinner at local restaurant, and check in hotel.

Day 3
Tanarara Hill – Waimarang Waterfall – Walakiri Beach Sunset

After breakfast, we will go to explore East part of Sumba Island. First visit will be Tanarara Hill,another beautiful hill in Sumba.

Next we will go to a beautiful waterfall in East Sumba, Waimarang Waterfall, the tough trekking you will have to do to get down will be adventurous.Don’t forget to bring your swimming clothes here, because you'll be tempted to jump into the water after the trek. Lunch box provided.

Last stop will be Walakiri Beach to enjoy the sunset. You can watch the sunset here while exploring the beach with its beautiful mangroves. Don’t hesitate and walk towards the small and magical trees which are growing inside the water.When the sun has disappeared, we will go to the hotel where you can take a rest. Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 4
Tenau Hills – Persaudaraan Hill – Souvenirs – Waingapu Airport

After breakfast and check out hotel, we will go to Tenau Hill,

then to Persaudaraa Hill ( brotherhood hills ) , and stop in souvenirs shop, before going to the airport. End of trip.
