    Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 6:00 AM for a transfer to Mikumi National Park. The drive, which takes approximately six hours, will allow you to enjoy views of Tanzania’s beautiful countryside. Upon arrival at Mikumi, you will be treated to a leisurely lunch before setting out on an exciting afternoon game drive. During the game drive, you’ll have the chance to witness a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests, as well as diverse bird species. The drive will continue until sunset, offering a perfect opportunity to observe animals as they gather around waterholes and move through the savannah, creating unforgettable experiences in the golden light of the late afternoon.

    The benefit of a 2-day Mikumi safari is that it allows you to experience both an evening and a morning game drive, maximizing your chances of spotting wildlife. On the second day, after breakfast, our driver will pick you up from the lodge for a morning game drive, where you can observe animals during their most active hours. Around 11:00 AM, you will begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam, with a stop for lunch along the way. The expected arrival time in Dar es Salaam is approximately 5:00 PM, though you are welcome to inform our driver if you prefer to return earlier.
