Annapurna Luxury Circuit Trek starts with a beautiful drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar on the 2nd day. The drive takes about 6-7 hours and goes through beautiful landscapes, lush green hills, and traditional Nepalese towns. Once trekkers arrive at Besisahar, they can rest and get ready for the next part of their journey while enjoying the local food and culture.
On the 3rd day of the Annapurna Luxury Circuit Trek, you will drive from Besisahar to Chame. The drive takes about 6-7 hours and goes through beautiful places like lush green woods, terraced fields, and small towns. On the way, you will also cross a number of suspended bridges and rivers. Chhame is a small village at an altitude of 2,670 meters. It is the gateway to the Manaslu area. The town is known for its traditional houses and friendly people, as well as its beautiful views of the snow-covered mountains. You will stay the night at a lodge in Chhame and get ready for the next part of the trek. We keep going to Namche Bazaar after lunch. This is the biggest Sherpa village in the Khumbu region, and expeditions and trekking groups start from here. Here, you can buy a few last-minute things (like chocolate) if you forgot to get them in Kathmandu.
On the 4th day of the Annapurna Luxury Circuit Trek, you will take to Upper Pisang. The road takes you through a lot of beautiful scenery. You'll trek through dense forests, cross streams, and walk next to big rocks. When you get to Upper Pisang, you'll be able to see the Annapurna mountain range and the valley below. This traditional town is known for its unique culture. You can learn about their way of life by visiting the local monasteries and talking to the friendly people who live there. You'll spend the night in a cozy teahouse, where you can enjoy the quiet and get ready for the next day's journey.
On the 5th day of Annapurna Luxury Circuit Trek, you will hike to the lovely town of Manang. The route takes you through the beautiful Marsyangdi Valley, where you'll see lush woods and small villages. As you climb higher, you'll notice that the land is getting more barren and the air is getting thinner. Manang is at an elevation of 3,540 meters and is a major center for trade in the area. Annapurna III, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak, which are all very tall, circle the village. When you get there, you can look around the town and its traditional Tibetan buildings, or you can rest and acclimatize to the high altitude.
On the 6th day of the Annapurna Luxury Circuit Trek, you will stay in Manang to get used to the high altitude. Manang is at an altitude of 3,540 meters, which is higher than most people are used to. Gangapurna and the ice lakes will also be on our list. We also visit Vraja village to see the Himalayan Rescue Association. There, we will learn about acute mountain sickness and everything else connected to it.To avoid altitude sickness, it is important to give yourself a day to adjust to the altitude. You can spend the day exploring the town, taking in the amazing views of the mountains around it, and taking it easy. You can also go on short hikes to higher altitudes to help your body get used to the higher air. It's important to drink water and pay attention to your body if you want to have a safe and fun trip.
On the 7th day of the Annapurna Luxury Circuit Trek, you will trek from Manang to Ladar. The trek takes you through beautiful places where you can see the Annapurna range in all its glory. You will go through small towns where you can see how people live and talk to them. The route goes through a forest of juniper and pine trees, and you might see some animals along the way. As you get closer to Ladar, you will see how Tibetan culture has affected the village's buildings and way of life. The day's hike is not too hard and takes about 5 to 6 hours to finish. Ladar is at an elevation of 4,230 meters and has a great view of the mountains all around it. In Chhukung, you can eat lunch at any hotel you want. However, Hotel Bright Star is the most popular choice. We'll go back to Dingboche after lunch.
A route between wide valleys leads to Dughla, where the hike to Lobuche, which is 4910 m above sea level, starts. Cross a few yak fields in Dusa and keep going to Lobuche. Above the tree line, the paths are now empty and snow-covered. So, you will notice that there are no trees or green hills. You only see slopes with snow on them. On the seventh day of the Annapurna Luxury Circuit Trek, hikers will go from Ladar to Thorong High Camp. This is a hard part of the hike because the altitude is getting higher and the ground is getting steeper. The hike will take about 5 to 6 hours, and there will be beautiful views of the mountains along the way. When hikers get to Thorong High Camp, they can rest and get used to the higher atmosphere before trying to cross Thorong La Pass the next day. At Thorong High Camp, the rooms are simple but cozy, and trekkers can get meals and hot drinks to help them get ready for the next day's hike.
On day 9 of the Annapurna Luxury Circuit Trek, hikers will have to cross the Thorang La Pass, which is at an altitude of 5,416 meters. This will be the hardest part of the trek. The climb to the pass can be hard, but the stunning views of the mountains and rivers around you make it worth it. After reaching the pass, trekkers will start to go downhill toward the holy site of Muktinath, which is known for its Hindu and Buddhist churches and natural spring water sources. This part of the trek will take about 6-7 hours, and there will be plenty of chances to see the beautiful scenery of the Mustang area.
On the 10th day of the Annapurna Luxury Circuit Trek, you will trek from Marpha to Jomsom. The trail goes through charming towns with traditional stone houses and apple orchards. Cross the Kali Gandaki River and trek along the riverbank until you get to Jomsom, which is the administrative center of the Mustang area. Jomsom is a big town with a lot of stores, hotels, and places to eat. You can look around the town and the area around it, go to the Jomsom Museum, or swim in the hot springs. Jomsom is also known for its strong winds, so be ready for some stormy weather. As well as the huge views of the mountains and glaciers around you that make you feel like you're in heaven. After a few hours of walking, you can visit the H.M.A.R. hospital, which was built in 1975, or the nearby village (4371m).
On the 11th day of the Annapurna Luxury Circuit Trek, you'll take a morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. On the flight, you can see Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, two of the most beautiful mountains in the world. When you get to Pokhara, you can look around the beautiful city, which is known for its calm lakes and amazing views of the mountains. You can go to the famous Fewa Lake, which is surrounded by woods and hills, or you can enjoy the city's lively nightlife. Today is the last day of your hike, so you can spend the rest of the day resting and thinking about your amazing journey.
On the 12th day of Annapurna Luxury Circuit Trek, you will take a short 30-minute flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu, which offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayan ranges. After landing in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can freshen up and relax for a while. Later in the evening, a farewell dinner will be held by the company. As today will be your last day in Nepal, this is an excellent opportunity to share your experience with everyone before departing the next day. Stay overnight at the hotel.
