Mount Batur is 1,717 meters high above sea level (the third highest peak in Bali) and considered as one of the sacred mountain according to Hindu belief. It is a semi active volcano located in Kintamani district of Bangli regency. The Kintamani area was once dominated by a massive volcano which created the 3 kilometer wide caldera now occupied by Lake Batur and the active volcano Mount Batur.

What to expect
Start your hike at the foot of Mount Batur after initial pick-up from your accommodation. You'll even start your jungle journey on an exclusive trail with views of the surrounding farmers' gardens.
Enjoy the beautiful night sky away from the city lights as you climb. After traveling for 2 hours, you will be treated to sunrise views over the natural scenery and the sea horizon at the top. And what's even more interesting, is you can enjoy breakfast at the top of the volcano.
On the way down, you'll enjoy more views, such as Lake Batur, a huge volcanic crater lake.
