After your tour is finished, enjoy free time in a self-led exploration of the Borghese Gardens. After exiting the Borghese Gallery, stroll along Viale dei Pupazzi toward the Temple of Aesculapius, a romantic lake surrounded by umbrella pines and statues. You can rent a rowboat here for a quick paddle or simply relax and take photos. Then follow signs toward Pincian Hill Terrace (Terrazza del Pincio)—one of Rome’s best viewpoints.
