Start with a guided tour of the famously vibrant Mercato Trionfale in Prati - not far from the Vatican. This is Rome’s largest local market, and the biggest covered food market in Europe. Here you’ll soak up the friendly atmosphere as you explore the 270 stalls overflowing with colorful, fresh produce. Sun-ripened vegetables, local and regional specialities from Umbrian olives and truffles to delicious cheeses from Puglia. You'll also shop for fresh ingredients to take with you to the cooking class. From the market, it's a short walk to our modern cooking school for a hands-on class where you’ll make traditional Roman gnocchi and sauce from scratch. Enjoy your homemade meal with wine, a dessert of cantucci and vin santo , and great company. Take home our digital recipe booklet as a souvenir of your experience of Roman life and cuisine.
