    Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

    Explore the magnificent Forbidden City and delve into its Imperial architecture, immersing yourself in the history of the palace. Serving as the imperial residence for the Ming and Qing Dynasties for approximately 500 years, it housed emperors, their households, and played a crucial role as the ceremonial and political center of the Chinese government. The Forbidden City is divided into two sections: the Outer Court, representing the emperor's supreme power over the nation, and the Inner Court, where he resided with his royal family. The tour route encompasses key palaces along the central axis, including Meridian Gate, Gate of Supreme Harmony, Hall of Supreme Harmony, Hall of Central Harmony, Hall of Preserved Harmony, Palace of Heavenly Purity, Hall of Union and Peace, Palace of Earthly Tranquility, Imperial Garden and Gate of Divine Might( north exit gate of the Forbidden City).
