The Emperor ordered a halt at the Ferme du Caillou, which was to become Napoleon's Last Headquarters. The Emperor, surrounded by his General Staff, spent the night of 17 to 18 June 1815 there under the protection of the Imperial Guard. It was here that the battle plans were drawn up.
