Rappel into the depths of Chiapas renowned La Sima de las Cotorras Eco Park —a large sinkhole tucked within the tropical forests of Mexico's lush Selva El Ocote Biosphere Reserve. Beginning from either Tuxtla Gutiérrez or San Cristóbal de las Casas, you'll arrive at the 'Sinkhole of Parrots' and abseil behind your guide into the darkness of this 311-foot-deep (95 meters) pit or if you prefer you can choose another option with 114-foot-deep (35 meters).Once inside, marvel at the dozens of ancient Zoque paintings adorning the rocks walls while experiencing a subterranean world unlike any other. Once you have finished you will have the opportunity to cross the sinkhole in a Zip lane of 170 Mts of distance from one end to the other in approximately 21 seconds!. This thrilling adventure includes lunch and round-trip transport.
