Our crew will explain the basic operation and safety tips, and you will be ready for a fantastic time. The boats are equipped with pedal propulsion, so your hands are free to do anything else. Explore the best photo spots and enjoy amazing sightseeing in San Diego Bay at the same time. Get a good workout and find serenity among the waves.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We depart from H&M Sport Fishing Docks. Please arrive 15 min prior departure time. Our crew will be waiting for you near Point Loma Seafood Restaurant. Look for Eco Boat Rentals blue flag on the first dock in front of the restaurant. Call or text if you are confused
What to expect
The Plan:
• Your ride starts at America’s Cup Harbor, where our friendly crew will welcome you and check you in. We’ll provide life jackets, operation orientation, and safety instructions.
• You’ll leave the dock and begin your journey. As you pedal further, you will see the city of San Diego and its beautiful harbor.
• Keep an eye out for local wildlife! There’s a good chance you’ll spot playful sea lions lounging on the docks or swimming nearby, along with majestic seabirds like the Great Blue Heron or Double-crested Cormorants.
• Take a photo of the breathtaking Downtown San Diego skyline.
What You Need to Know:
• Each pedal boat can accommodate up to 3 adults and one child, with a maximum weight limit of 600 lbs.
• Boats are equipped with sunshades, comfortable seats, and Bluetooth speakers.
• Pets are welcome to join the fun!
• Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your reservation time.
• Bring a small cooler with nonalcoholic drinks and snacks.
The Eco Pedal Boat in San Diego Bay has a maximum capacity of up to 3 adults and 1 kid (max 600lb).
2 adults+2 kids = is a perfect combination for 1 pedal boat.
2 adults+ 2 kids + 1 small dog = is perfect combination for 1 pedal boat.
2 adults + 2 small/medium dogs = is perfect combination for 1 pedal boat.
3 adults + 1 small/medium dog = perfect combination for 1 pedal boat.
If you have 4 adults, we highly recommend renting 2 boats for safety and comfort!
