highest
elevation on the National Mall.
The U.S. Capitol Building, the majestic symbol of modern democracy is our starting point. After a tour of the Capitol, we will visit the largest library in the world, the Library of Congress with its amazing
testimony to “Life Long Learning”. Next stop, the U.S. Supreme Court for a picture stop and contemplation of ‘Equal Justice Under Law.’ Behind these monumental buildings is the lively, historic Capitol Hill neighborhood. We will explore the beautiful architecture, parks, and the engaging stories of life ‘on the Hill.’ The tour ends at the historic Eastern Market where old and new come together in a truly Washingtonian
vibe. Enjoy the variety of foods and melding of cultures in this colorful historical public market.
