You would be greeted by the driver at your hotel in Jaipur before heading on the 3 hours journey to the twin pilgrimage cities of Ajmer and Pushkar.
On the way to Pushkar, first stop was Ajmer dargah Sharif at Ajmer. Ajmer Sharif is considered as the most imperative sacred place for Muslims on behalf of the presence of tomb of founder of Christi Sufi, Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. As it is located in Rajasthan, the border state of India, people from Pakistan also comes here to get the blessings from the Sufi saint. Not only Muslims, but people from all over the world visit the shrine to get rid of problems of their life.
After visiting Ajmer Sharif, you’ll drive to Pushkar. The town is about 15 km from Ajmer, and the drive usually takes around 25–30 minutes.
Upon reaching, you’ll first visit the Brahma Temple, one of the few temples in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma. It sits close to Pushkar Lake and holds deep religious importance for Hindu pilgrims. As you walk through the temple, you can take in its peaceful atmosphere, the red shikhar, and the centuries-old stonework that makes it one of Pushkar’s most remarkable landmarks. The main attraction here is the Brahma Temple itself, widely known as the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the entire world.
After visiting the temple, take a leisurely walk around Pushkar Lake and its ghats, where you can watch pilgrims performing rituals, hear the sound of temple bells, and take in the calm, spiritual atmosphere around the water. It’s a peaceful way to experience the daily life and sacred traditions of Pushkar.
After exploring Pushkar town, you’ll drive back to Jaipur, and upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or any preferred location in the city.
