Experience the elegance and history of the Lipizzaner horses with a half-day tour to Lipica - sLOVEnia. The Stud Farm was established in 1580 and is one of the oldest stud farms in the world.
This tour includes a guided visit to the Lipica Stud Farm, a walk through the scenic grounds, stales and local museum. You will travel with comfortable, air conditioned up to date people`s carrier/van/car. This is private tour for one party only.
On Sundays: also possible to see captivating performance by the Lipizzaner horses showcasing their agility and training.

Meeting and pickup
Pickup is available from the Cruise ship terminal in Koper or any other location within Koper town limits.
You will receive exact and optimized tour departure details within 24 hrs after the booking.
If not otherwise agreed the return location is the same as pickup location.

We will meet a the cruise terminal or other preferred accommodation and head directly to Lipica. A ride in a comfortable up to date clean and air conditioned van takes about 40 minutes. We accept up to 8 persons for this private excursion.

1Lipica Stud Farm - Kobilarna Lipica
As we arrive to Lipica stud farm your driver/guide will drop you off at the entrance and give you the tickets (included in price) for the guided tour throughout the farm. There you will enjoy a guided walk beneath the crowns of mighty trees, enter the world of Lipica through the Museum of the Lipizzaner or just relax and enjoy the beauty and energy of this beautiful park. The Lipica Stud Farm is one of the most beautiful cultural and historical monuments in Slovenia, A tradition of breeding on of the most elegant studs in the world is over 430 years old here. After our agreed time (no less than 2 hours but can stay longer if the group agrees) we will meet again and head back to Koper

2The Socerb Castle
As we meet again after approx 2 hours we will head back to Koper in a smooth 40 minutes ride trough the picturesque carst region in Slovenia. We wil make a Photo Stop by Socerb castle - this is ultimate view point to all Bay of Trieste.

Koper (Pass by)
After that or if we skip that the tour concludes in Koper under your ship or another preferred location or we can drop you off in the Koper old town so you can walk trough the town on your own. The old town is 9-11 minutes of walking away from the cruise ship terminal.

- Pickup is from Koper cruise terminal but is also available from any location within Koper town limits. Please provide us pickup location at the time of booking.

- During peak season we cannot always guarantee to provide fluent English speaking driver or escort. In the event this is not possible, rest assured that you will still receive 100 percent level of service and will not be affected in any way. The stud farm tour is always in English.

- This tour operates in all weather conditions so please wear appropriate clothes in case of wind or rain.
