This is the 300-year-old Dutch Fort, but there are other historical buildings to view as well. Bentota is a small town situated on coastal areas in Sri Lanka. Positioned 65 kilometers south of Colombo the capital, in the Bentota region of the Southern Province. It is quite famous for its breathtaking view, and especially the Bentota Beach.

Located in Galle, Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct as the name would suggest is a shopping mall located in a beautifully restored colonial building originally built during the Dutch occupation. It has a constantly growing selection of places to eat, drink or shop. There are fabulous bay views from its upper balcony.

Fort Shri Sudarmalaya Buddhist Temple is located in Galle. Visitors to this small and peaceful Buddhist temple have likened it to a mosque or a church. As such it is popular with visitors of all religions who seek a moment to rest and catch their breath after a busy morning’s sightseeing.
