As evening falls, Old Québec lights up under the glow of that golden hour. It’s quieter at this time, making it the perfect moment to stroll the historic streets of Lower Town before heading up to Upper Town, all while enjoying amazing views of the St. Lawrence River.
Check out Place Royale, the birthplace of French civilization in North America. Wander through the charming Rue du Petit-Champlain with its boutiques and artisan shops, and see the Fresque des Québécois come alive with history. Take a moment to relax before slowly making your way up to Upper Town.
Up top, enjoy the most photographed hotel, the Château Frontenac, and its boardwalk Terrasse Dufferin. You’ll be in the perfect spot to choose a restaurant and enjoy a delicious dinner, a perfect way to end a night in Québec City. A 15–20% tip for your guide is strongly recommended at the end of the visit.

We’ll make our way to Place Royale, where the architecture and the nearby Fresque des Québécois really bring French-Canadian history to life. Then, we’ll stroll down rue du Petit-Champlain, often called one of the most beautiful streets in Canada, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the neighborhood, with local artisans, musicians, and that special "joie de vivre" Québec is known for.

Take a moment to admire the iconic Château Frontenac, then enjoy a stroll along Dufferin Terrace, once a favorite spot for the city’s upper class to take in views of the St. Lawrence River. Along the way, discover the strong pride of Francophone heritage reflected in the architecture and lively squares, before ending your tour near the beautiful Cathedral of Québec and City Hall.
