We travel up the coast road to Rungsted and then through the Danish countryside to Fredriksborg Palace, where you can see the Royal Art Collection. After this we drive to fredensborg Palace. It was named Fredensborg, or Peace Palace, in English, to celebrate the signing of the peace treaty between Denmark and Sweden.
The last stop on our tour is in Helsingør, which is known as Elsinor in English. There you can visit the ramparts of Kronborg, Hamlet's Castle, which dates back to 1585. You could also take a walk through the historic city of Helsingør, where you will find many half timbered buildings and a Cathedral that dates back to the 1200s.
From Helsingør we travel back to Copenhagen via Strandvejen, the coast road and the highway.
