2Kehlsteinhaus
The newly opened Documentation centre is worth a visit and is now a museum of sorts which includes a detailed history of the rise and fall of the Third Reich amidst the bunkers built for the party members to escape should the time come. Well worth spending some time here with an audio guide to enhance your experience.

3Salzburg
Salzburg is a 30 minute drive from Eagles Nest. We usually stop for lunch and then do a walking tour of the old town which includes many of the Sound of Music sights. Marienplatz, Nonntal Abbey, Stiegl Brewery, Mozart's birth house, Getreide Gasse and many more sights are covered in this two hour walking tour including stops of the many markets and of course the Xmas market in the centre of Salzburg.

4Red Bull World
Time permitting - we can also pay a visit to the Red Bull "toys" in the shape of Formula One cars, aeroplanes used in competitions, motorbikes in fact anything that Red Bull has sponsored we get to see in the phenomenal Hanger/TV studio. A short but worthwhile visit you are a fan of all things fast and furious.

5Schloss Hellbrunn
Time permitting - we visit one of Salzburg's most famous and exquisite Xmas markets and an added bonus - we get to see the Gazebo from the Sound of Music which is also located on the grounds of this famous castle.
