Besakih Temple and The Gate of Heaven Tour is exciting Bali Full Day Tours ​to visit Besakih Temple, Tirta Gangga, Lempuyang Temple and Taman Ujung Sukasada. The trip will start from your hotel then we will drive you to visit Besakih Temple, this place is the biggest Hindu temple in Bali which the local people call Pura Besakih. Next destination is visiting Tirta Gangga Water Garden, the gardens of this Bali water garden show a unique mix of Balinese and Chinese architecture.

For your lunch we will be served at a restaurant in Tirta Gangga area. After lunch finishes we will drive you to visit Lempuyang Temple which is known as the gate of heaven and one of Bali’s oldest and most highly regarded temples. Our last destination is Taman Ujung Sukasada, the park is laid out very beautiful and unique, reminiscent of the Dutch colonial period.

What to expect

Besakih Temple is open for tourists and it is a great place to visit during your holiday on Bali island. This Hindu temple known as Bali's Mother Temple for over 1,000 years, sits 1,000 meters high on the southwestern slopes of Mount Agung. Besakih is an artistic and unique complex that comprises at least 86 temples which include the main Pura Penataran Agung (the Great Temple of State) and 18 others. Besakih is the biggest and holiest of the island temples and is surrounded by breathtaking and scenic rice paddies, hills, mountains, streams and more. To the Balinese, visiting the temple sanctuaries is a special pilgrimage. Mount Agung's high location gives it an almost mystical quality.
