You will learn both the basic theory and practical aspects of fishing during a weekend getaway.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to use a fishing setup confidently and know how to handle a fish that is caught.

What to expect
The Beginner Angler's Course aims to introduce fishing to those interested in trying out fishing or searching for a new hobby. It will be completed within a day on the scenic Lazarus Island, one of Singapore's best kept secrets. You will learn both the basic theory and practical aspects of fishing during a weekend getaway.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to use a fishing setup confidently and know how to handle a fish that is caught.

HOW TO BOOK?
Step 1: Book a date for your practical session on the fishing yacht.
Step 2: Watch the online tutorials via the link sent to you.
Step 3: Tie at least a set of paternoster rig.
Step 4: Complete the online quiz.
Step 5: Go for your practical session and enjoy your time on the water!
REMARK:
*Instructor to Number of Students: 1:10 with a minimum requirement of 6 students for course commencement. Groups and individuals will be combined to form a class.
*Age Requirement: Open to all ages from 5 years and above. For 5-12 year olds, an accompanying adult must enroll in the course.
DURATION:
- 40 mins online theory
- 4 hours practical on boat

- Please prepare lunch and drinking water.
- Please prepare a raincoat in case of rain.
- You may prepare small pouch or bag to keep your starter kit
- You may bring swimwear if you intend to take a dip in the sea during the breaks. (There are no bathing facilities but toilet with water hose is available for washing up)
