Mikumi National Park and the Uluguru Mountains are the best places for a short break to discover Tanzanian traditions and nature. We will take you to the famous Masaai tribe, you will be able to take part in their everyday life. The next day is 8 hours in the park hunting wild animals. Get ready to face a lion face to face. On the last day of trekking, you will be able to admire the beautiful landscapes of the Uluguru mountains and see the life of their inhabitants during the trek. The end of the journey is a visit to a local shaman who will reveal some secrets of local medicine and magic.

    Morning 8 am, pick up from your hotel or other agreed point and start your way to Mikumi. The way to takes approximately 5-6 hours. You arrive in Mikumi for lunch. After a short break in the Lodge, a trip to a Maasai village, where you can learn about the customs and traditions of the Maasai. The Maasai are a colorful tribe from Tanzania who’s nomadic traditional lifestyle has endured for centuries. They breed cattle and them breeders are extremely qualified.

    Mikumi National Park

    Full day in Mikumi game viewing- Mikumi NP is one of Tanzania's larger parks and has excellent bird life as well, as being good for viewing predators, there is a rich variety bird species as well as large numbers of giraffes, buffaloes and elephants and close to the water holes also lions, leopards and hippos. Mikumi National Park is mostly miombo woodland with gently rolling hills.

    Uluguru Hiking and back to Dar Es Salaam

    The morning after breakfast trip to Uluguru. The hike via Choma traditional village with the waterfall to the Morning side- an old German mountain hut to the south of town at about 1000m and then back to Morogoro. On the way possible to visit “Witch Doctor”. You can extend your trip and add 2-3 days in Selous. From Dar you can catch the ferry to Zanzibar
