    Maun

    We meet guests at the Maun Airport and drive to a Lodge in Maun. The guide will do a briefing about the tour , on what to expect for the next 12 days. A safety briefing will also be given.

    Moremi Game Reserve

    The tour start with a drive to Moremi Game Reserve which is situated in the middle of Okavango Delta covering 15000 square kilometres of the northern part of Botswana. The drive is about 3 hours and along the way we will be stopping as we spot animals in the way. the guide will be giving factual insight into the habitant and the behavior of certain animals as we meet them. We expect to reach the camp at noon and have our first lunch in the lush bush of the African paradise. You will relax for about two hours before we leave the camp for a late afternoon game drive. The drive will last for 3 hours before we go back to camp. Dinner will be served around 1900hrs. The night is a welcome night in the bush after that its time for storytelling and get to know each other , make friends with other members of the trip if there are any from different places.

    Full Day Safari in Moremi Game Reserve

    Moremi Game Reserve

    Moremi Game Reserve is renowned for striking number of wildlife species, birdlife and a diverse landscape; combining mopane woodland, floodplains, fairytale like lagoons, papyrus rivers and acacia forests. Today we wake up at 0660hrs for our early morning game drive. The guide will take you to several point in the park in a quest to spot as many animals as possible. The drive will last for 3 hours before we return to the camp for a lunch. You will relax in the tents , recharge camera batteries before we go to another game drive in the afternoon at 15:30hrs with our expected return to be after sunset.

    Xanakana- Boat Safari in Khwai River

    Moremi Game Reserve

    After breakfast at 0600hrs we head out on morning game drive heading down to Xakanaka Boat station. Along the way we will stop as we spot some animals especially the cats which are believed to have large populations dwelling there. We will embark on a boat for our aqua safari in the Khwai River. Birding is quite spectacular at Xakanaxa, especially during spring and summer when the migrant species breed. Most of Botswana's 550 species are resident or migrants, including Okavango specialties such as Pel's Fishing Owl and Slaty Egret. Huge numbers of breeding storks and herons are attracted to the world-famous heronries. The boat safari will be 3hours and we will cover almost 45km. We expect to head back to the campsite at 1700hrs where a yummy dinner will be served before we retire to bed.

    From Moremi to Khwai Campsite

    today we pack our bags and leave this place that has been home for the past 3 days. After breakfast we drive from Moremi Game Reserve to Khwai Development Trust. the drive itself is a game drive with the area abundant in wildlife. we will reach the campsite at Khwai around 1300hrs. A camp will be set up while lunch is prepared. After lunch we will have a free afternoon, relaxing and playing a few board games. in the Evening we will convene for dinner around a campfire to reflect and share the stories of the safari so far.

    Khwai Development Trust- Full Day Game Drive

    The second day at Khwai will start off with a game drive. Soon after breakfast we pack our cameras for an early morning game drive. Khwai is a wildlife-rich 200,000 ha gem on the fringes of the Okavango Delta – sandwiched between Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park. This is one of the best places in Botswana to see wild dogs and other predators and, with no fences separating any of these areas, you are likely to see just about everything that northern Botswana has to offer. We will go back for lunch at 100hrs, relax a bit before we go on a late afternoon game drive set to start around 1530hrs. Dinner for the day will be served at 1900hrs.

    Khwai to Savuti- Transfer and Game Drive

    Its goodbye to Khwai today as we depart the campsite to Savuti.. The drive to Savuti will be conducted as morning game drive as we cover about 100kms to BOGA campsite on a 4 to 5hrs drive. The Savuti Marsh is the relic of a large inland lake whose water supply was cut a long time ago by tectonic movements. On the travelling day we will have picnic lunch en route and arriving at the campsite around (18:00hrs).

    Savuti Full Day Safari

    Today its about experiencing the thrill of getting close to top predators and to watch them in their natural habitat from the comfort of an open-air 4x4 vehicle. The area is renowned for its large population of bull elephants and Savuti offers the chance of witnessing the unique interaction of the resident predator species. The day will comprise of two safaris one in the morning and another late afternoon set to return at sunset. We will have a break to have lunch at noon.

    Savuti to Chobe River Front- Transfer and Game Drive

    We leave Savuti to Chobe River Front. Soon after the breakfast we drive about 142kms to the Chobe River Front. Through the drive we will pass through the African villages and guests are more welcome to visit one of them for a small interaction with these people who live here. Today we will have a picnic lunch and we expect to reach BOGA campsite around 1800hrs.

    Chobe - Full Day Safari- Game Drive & Boat Safari

    Chobe National Park

    Chobe National Park is a true wildlife paradise and one of the best national parks in Southern Africa. Just one peek at the variety of wildlife and lush vegetation and you will be mesmerized forever. We will do morning game drive after breakfast and back to campsite around 11:00am At 12:30hrs we will leave the campsite en-route to the Chobe River jetty where we expect to start out boat safari at14:00hrs. The boat cruise will end around 17:00hrs after which we will drive back to the campsite for our dinner.

    Today we wrap up our safari and reflect on the ten days sent in the bush. We will do morning game drive as we head out of the park en-route to the boat jetty for a cruise at the Chobe River. The cruise is expected to start at11:00hrsand expected to end at 1400hrs. Lunch for the day will be served in the boat on board. After the cruise we head back to the camp site. to night is our last night and after dinner we convene at the camp fire to reflect on this amazing safaris, sharing experiences and memories created in the past days.

    Wrap up and Goodbye Botswana

    Chobe National Park

    We wake up early morning to pack up our belongings and equipment. After breakfast we do our last game drive as we head out of the park to the city centre. Its good bye Botswana and we end our trip with dropping you at you desired place ie. Kasane hotel/ Airport. those who would want to be dropped in Victoria Falls should indicate that.
