This Hiking Trail + Kayaking Tour start from Punta cana with a Transfer from Hotels. After this we arrive to the park where we will hike around 2 hours along the Humid Forest in the Los Haitises National Park. You will learn about the medicinal plants of this area, see the broadleaf forest primary and secondary Los Haitises National Park mountains.

Then we take the equipment required for your safety (Lifejackets, etc), kayaks and going through mangrove swamps. You will see some bird-filled mangroves, rolling hills of lush vegetation. Through the mangroves and Land at the open San Lorenzo Bay, from where you can photograph the rugged forest landscape.

Lunch with locals to drive back to your hotel in Punta cana.

    Los Haitises National Park

    You will explore Los Haitises National Park with its unique rocks up to 98 feet high that jutting out of the water. You will tour its tropical forests which were filming locations for the movie Jurassic Park. You will sail by boat through its lush mangroves and you will easily spot the endangered Ridgway's Hawk, the Hispaniolan Piculet, the Hispaniolan Woodpecker, the Hispaniolan Emerald, as well as pelicans, frigate birds, herons, and many more majestic birds in flight over the park's extensive landscape. You will explore the caves where the Tainos lived more than 500 years ago and you will see the more than 950 pictographic paintings that still remain overthere, handmade by them. *1 hour transportation time from Montaña Redonda is Included on the duration.

    Enjoy the majestic panoramic views from the top of Montaña Redonda with its imposing 1,000 feet of height, contemplating a paradisiacal landscape of the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic island. *50 minutes transportation from Punta Cana are Inluded on the durtion where you will have the opportunity to enjoy beautiful views of the Dominican countryside.
