The tour offers a convenient and comfortable journey from Warsaw to the peaceful countryside of northeastern Poland, where the former Nazi death camp Treblinka II once operated. With round-trip transport and the assistance of a Spanish-speaking guide, visitors gain historical insight into one of the largest extermination camps established by Nazi Germany in occupied Poland. At the memorial site you will walk along the symbolic railway ramp and see the main monument and hundreds of stones commemorating destroyed Jewish communities, while learning about the tragic history of the Holocaust and the stories of those who suffered here.
This historical tour begins in Warsaw, in front of the entrance to the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews.
After departing from Warsaw, we travel about 1.5 hours to the quiet forests where the former Nazi death camp Treblinka II once stood. At the memorial site, you will learn about Operation Reinhard, the deadliest phase of the Holocaust, during which around 800,000 people were murdered here. Walking along the symbolic path that represents the railway ramp where deportation trains arrived, we reach the main monument dedicated to the victims. You will see the large cracked granite memorial and hundreds of stones representing Jewish communities destroyed during the Holocaust. Throughout the visit, we discuss the stories of prisoners, survivors, and perpetrators, as well as the August 1943 prisoners’ uprising that helped lead to the camp’s closure.
