The unique Ateshgah Fire Temple - is one of Azerbaijan’s most remarkable sight. According to historical sources, before the construction of the Indian Temple Of Fire in Surakhani at the end of the 17th, the local people also worshiped at this site because of the “seven holes with burning flame”.

Yanar Dag (Fire Mountain) - Yanar Dag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan (a country which itself is known as "the Land of Fire"). Flames jet into the air 3 metres (9.8 ft) from a thin, porous sandstone layer.

    Gobustan Rock Art

    Qobustan it is an ancient place of habitants which live in these areas on the dates of 5,000-40,000 years ago. It is located about about 60 km far from Baku city center. This location included to the UNESCO Heritage list. Qobustan National Museum will help you to feel the history of first immigrants of these lands. The reserve has more than 6,000 rock engravings dating back between 5,000-40,000 years. The site also features the remains of inhabited caves, settlements and burials, all reflecting an intensive human use by the inhabitants of the area during the wet period that followed the last Ice Age.

    Mud Volcanoes

    Azerbaijan also famous with its Mud Vulcanos which is very rear in the world. We will have a chance to see these Vulcanos which are near to Qobustan Museum. As the road to Mud Vulcano is so bad, we will change our car to Soviet cars with brand name Lada. It will be another Safari adventure for you. ;)
