Qobustan it is an ancient place of habitants which live in these areas on the dates of 5,000-40,000 years ago. It is located about about 60 km far from Baku city center. This location included to the UNESCO Heritage list.
After the museum, we will go up to the Petroglyphs.
Azerbaijan also famous with its Mud Vulcanos which is very rear in the world. We will have a chance to see these Vulcanos which are near to Qobustan Museum. As the road to Mud Vulcano is so bad, we will change our car to Soviet cars with brand name Lada. It will be another Safari adventure for you. ;)
Is one of Azerbaijan’s most remarkable sight. According to historical sources, before the construction of the Indian Temple Of Fire in Surakhani at the end of the 17th, the local people also worshiped at this site because of the “seven holes with burning flame”.
Yanar Dag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan (a country which itself is known as "the Land of Fire"). Flames jet into the air 3 metres (9.8 ft) from a thin, porous sandstone layer.
Diri Baba mausoleum - a mausoleum that built 1402 for a holy person and still attracts locals as a pilgrimage place.
Juma Mosque in Shamakhi - The oldest and largest mosque in Azerbaijan, Shamakhi Juma, according to the legend was built in the 8th century when Shamakhi was chosen as residence by an Arabian caliph. The initial Arabian inscription on the portal of the mosque said that the mosque had constructed in 743.
Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum complex, mausoleums that were built for the family member of the Khan of Shamakhi around the 17th century.
