This tour covers Quito’s two most important sectors: The modern and the old colonial section, we will visit the imposing neo-Gothic church Basilica del Voto Nacional, the Basilic of Quito. Then we walk around independence square, the heart of Quito, surrounded by the Government Palace, The Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace , and the city hall.

Discover the artistic heart of Quito by exploring its magnificent churches. Step into the awe-inspiring La Compañía Church, a true Baroque gem renowned for its lavish interior completely adorned with shimmering gold leaf. Just a short stroll away lies the San Francisco Complex, an immense historical site and the largest religious complex in South America, housing a priceless collection of colonial art and centuries of Ecuadorian history.

Our journey continues to El Panecillo, a iconic hill soaring to 3,000 meters (10,000 feet) above Quito. Here, the majestic Virgin of Quito statue stands proudly, offering a spiritual and visual landmark. From this incredible vantage point, prepare to be captivated by panoramic views that stretch across both the historic Old City and the modern expanse of New Quito. It’s undoubtedly one of the best viewpoints in Quito, perfect for capturing stunning cityscapes and understanding the city’s unique layout. You will discover the beauty of Ecuador’s capital from above!
