Discover the majesty of the Andes on this private tour to Cajon del Maipo, ideal for travelers seeking nature and comfort.
With pick-up from your hotel in Santiago, we travel to San José de Maipo, gateway to one of the most imposing landscapes in the central region. The journey runs through mountain valleys, rivers of melt and natural viewpoints.
The highlight is the El Yeso Reservoir, famous for its turquoise waters surrounded by mountains. You will enjoy time to contemplate and photograph the surroundings.
Optionally, you can visit the Hill Valley Hot Springs (entrance not included). Access may be affected by weather conditions in winter.
Before returning to Santiago, we made a short stop at a local artisan chocolate shop.

Located on the outskirts of Santiago, Cajon del Maipo is a stunning canyon surrounded by mountains that offers spectacular views and a perfect escape from the city. Here, passengers can enjoy landscapes that combine rivers, mountains and fresh air. The tour includes strategic stops to appreciate the majesty of the Andes Mountains and take pictures of the imposing peaks that surround the area. Along the way, you will experience the serenity and natural beauty that make this place a must-see destination for nature lovers and the outdoors. The road will take 2 hours to the Maipo Cajon and 2 hours back to the starting point.

San José de Maipo is the heart of Cajon del Maipo and a picturesque mountain village full of history and charm. Founded in 1792, this quiet place is surrounded by the impressive Andes Mountains. Here, passengers can walk its traditional streets, know its central square and appreciate colonial architecture. The village is known for its hospitality, artisan markets and local products, such as jams, chocolates and local wines. The Baths of the Hill Valley are one of the great natural treasures of the Maipo Cajon.
