Discover the Andes Mountains on a private tour of the Maipo Cajon from Santiago, combining mountain scenery, nature and a flexible itinerary at your own pace.
After pickup from your hotel, we will travel through the Maipo Valley between rivers of thaw, mountain formations and natural viewpoints, stopping in the traditional village of San José de Maipo, historic heart of the area.
The highlight is the El Yeso Reservoir, known for its turquoise waters and spectacular Andean surroundings. Enjoy time to walk, take in the scenery and take pictures before continuing the experience.
When you book, you can choose between visiting El Yeso Reservoir or a more complete experience that also includes the entrance to the Colina Valley Baths, where you can relax in hot spring wells surrounded by the mountain range.
Before returning to Santiago, we will make a short stop at a local artisan chocolate shop.

The tour includes strategic stops to appreciate the majesty of the Andes Mountains and take pictures of the imposing peaks that surround the area. The road will take 2 hours to the Maipo Cajon and 2 hours back to the starting point.

San José de Maipo is the heart of Cajon del Maipo and a picturesque mountain village full of history and charm. Founded in 1792, this quiet place is surrounded by the impressive Andes Mountains. The village is known for its hospitality, artisan markets and local products, such as jams, chocolates and local wines.
