Watch the sun rise over Angkor Wat's five towers, then explore the Small Circuit's essential temples with a private, English-speaking guide. This 6-hour tour starts before dawn at Angkor Wat, continues to Ta Prohm's jungle-swallowed ruins, the quiet forest temple of Ta Nei, and Angkor Thom's walled city — home to the 216 stone faces of the Bayon, the Baphuon temple mount, and the royal terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King.
Hotel pickup starts at 5:00 AM by tuk tuk or air-conditioned car. Your guide sets the pace to your interests, whether that's photography, history, or simply beating the crowds. Includes drinking water, cold towels, and round-trip hotel transfer.

What to expect

1. Hotel Pickup — 5:00 AM

Guide and driver (tuk tuk or A/C car) collect you directly from your hotel lobby in Siem Reap.

2. Angkor Wat Sunrise

Walk in via the west entrance to the reflecting pools for sunrise over the temple's five towers. After sunrise, enter the main temple complex to see the bas-relief galleries and central sanctuary.

3. Local Coffee Break

Stop at a local coffee shop near the park for Cambodian coffee and a short rest before continuing.

4. Ta Prohm

The "Tomb Raider" temple, known for strangler fig and silk-cotton tree roots grown through the stone structures. Left largely as it was found, with minimal restoration.

5. Ta Nei

A quieter, less-visited temple close to Ta Prohm, reached by a short walk through forest. Fewer crowds and no vendor stalls.

6. Angkor Thom City

Enter through the South Gate, lined with the causeway of gods and demons. Highlights inside the walled city:

Bayon — the temple of 216 serene stone faces
Baphuon — the "living Buddha" temple mount
Terrace of the Elephants — the king's royal viewing platform
Terrace of the Leper King — carved terrace with layered relief walls

7. Return to Hotel
