Experience one of Romania’s most memorable wildlife adventures in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains. This guided tour offers the opportunity to observe wildlife in its natural habitat from a safe and respectful distance.
The late afternoon is the best time for observation, when wildlife is most active and chances of sightings are higher. From April onwards, conditions are generally more favorable as animals become more active after winter. For earlier dates, availability may vary depending on conditions.
After a 1–1.5 hour drive, you will meet the forest ranger at a designated meeting point and continue together to the observation hide.
From the hide, you will enjoy a calm and safe environment for approximately 1.5–2 hours, with time to observe and photograph wildlife. Your guide will share insights into the local ecosystem and animal behavior.
Before nightfall, you will return to your vehicle, and your guide will ensure a safe transfer back to your accommodation in Brașov.

Join us for an unforgettable wildlife experience in the Carpathian Mountains. We'll pick you up from your accommodation in Brașov and drive to a remote forest area, where you'll meet the forest ranger. From there, you'll continue off-road to a safe, elevated wildlife hide. Spend around 2 hours quietly observing bears and other wildlife in their natural habitat while your guide shares fascinating insights about the local ecosystem. This is also a great opportunity to take unforgettable photos—without disturbing the animals. After the experience, we'll return you safely to your accommodation in Brașov. Season: April–October/November (depending on conditions) Duration: Approx. 5–6 hours, including transfers.

- Bears have a very sensitive smell so please don’t bring any kind of food or snacks. Also, please don’t use perfume or other scents.
- Dress adequately. Wear sturdy shoes and try to avoid brights colors.
- During the activity don’t use flash or any other lights, as these might scare the animals. Please turn off your camera’s focus assist light.
- Bears are dangerous and unpredictable wild animals. Please don’t try to feed them or act like they are pets. In case you encounter one avoid eye contact, don’t try to run or climb into trees and listen to the forest ranger’s advice.
