This is a unique journey where the hiker travels side by side with the levada, surrounded by the lush vegetation, although the cedar stands out in many areas.
There is a lookout, where you can admire the grandeur of the mountains that surround the area.From this place you can also see, at the bottom, Ribeira da Janela. It’s amazing how the fog can appear as quickly as it disappears, offering excellent landscapes for unique pictures.
The beginning of the levada is the culmination of the beauty of this route. The waterfalls form a pond of pure and crystal water, on an area shined by the sun. Relax and enjoy the sun or release your spirit of adventure and make your own path to discover more hidden treasures.
