Unlike most Denver bike tours that stay confined to the downtown core or short city loops, this experience takes you far beyond the tourist zones—blending art, culture, and nature into one unforgettable ride. You'll see both the urban pulse of the city and the serene beauty of Cherry Creek State Park, all in a single trip. We keep our group sizes small and personable, allowing for a more relaxed, custom-paced experience. Whether you’re a local looking to rediscover Denver or a visitor wanting to see more than just the usual highlights, this tour offers a unique perspective that’s as scenic as it is satisfying.

What to expect

We'll begin our bike adventure in the vibrant Five Points and RiNo (River North) district—an area known for its colorful murals, historic jazz heritage, and creative energy. From there, we’ll cruise past iconic downtown landmarks like Union Station and Larimer Square before hopping onto the Cherry Creek Trail.

This scenic urban trail winds along the creek, offering a peaceful escape from the city buzz as we ride south toward Cherry Creek State Park and its sparkling reservoir. Lined with shady cottonwoods, wildflowers, and the occasional heron or red-tailed hawk, the Cherry Creek Trail reveals a quieter, more natural side of Denver—perfect for a refreshing ride with beautiful views.

The ride to the reservoir is about 15 miles each way, with an optional 5-mile loop around the lake for those feeling extra adventurous. We'll stop at the reservoir to relax and enjoy lunch with sandwiches and snacks before heading back.

Although the route is relatively flat, I recommend using e-bikes for comfort and ease, especially on the return. We also have regular bicycles available. On an e-bike, the full ride takes about 3 hours; on a traditional bike, plan for around 4.5 hours total.
