Mount batur is located in Kintamani sub-district, Bangli district. From 1804 - 2000 Mount Batur erupted 30 times. The most devastating eruption was on August 2 - September 21, 1926, with the lava hoarding Batur Village and Ulun Danu Batur Temple. Mount Batur has a height of 1717mdpl Part of the mountain's body collapsed due to a massive eruption, so that a very large crater called the caldera was formed. With an altitude of 1717 Mdpl, the beginner climbers preferred the tracks here. Mount Batur has a very extraordinary view. Climbing Mount Batur usually starts around 3 am and the time needed to reach the summit is approximately 3 hours for beginners.

What to expect
Between 2 to 3 am, we will provide private transportation from your hotel to the hiking starting point, at the base of Mt. Batur. (Arrival time to this location is around 3:45am). There you will meet your local hiking guide, who will explain all of the safety procedures. You will then start your exciting journey to the top of the volcano crater, and should arrive around 6am. You can then enjoy the sunrise, as you trek around the top of the crater. At the top of the crater, a small breakfast is included. We then depart for the hike down around 7:30am, arriving back to your vehicle around 9am. On the way back to your hotel, we can also stop at a Balinese coffee and spice plantation.
