Kathmandu Durbar Square lies at the heart of the capital city, only 2 km away from Thamel. The temples and monuments of Kathmandu Durbar Square you would explore are Hanuman Dhoka, Kumari house, Kaal Bhairav statue, Basantapur, Maru Ganesh temple, etc.
Drive to Patan and explore the Patan Durbar Square. Around the durbar square you will visit Krishna temple, golden temple, Shankhar Narayan temple, Machhendranath temple, Ashok stupa and more. The locals are cultural and friendly people. You can also find handicrafts, Buddha's statue, Mandalas and artworks.
Today you will drive to the countryside of Kathmandu valley and visit the Changunarayan temple lying at the high hill-top surrounded by Champak forest. Changunarayan is the ancient Hindu temple which is believed to be oldest temple in the history of Nepal. Here you will explore the historical pillar, Garuda, statue of Bhupadindra Malla, Chanda Narayan, Chhinamasta, Narasimha, Vishnu Vikrant, etc.
Drive Changunarayan to Bhaktapur. In Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you will explore the architectural buildings like Nyatapola temple, 55 window palace, Bhairav Nath temple, Golden gate, Lion's gate, mini Pashupatinath as well as sculptures of gods and goddess. You will also explore the Pottery square, where the pottery makers are processing their pot out of clay and selling them in the market.
