Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek is one of the classical treks in the world. This trek offers world's highest peak Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayas range, diverse culture, varieties of flora fauna. ABC trek is also combined with the Ghorepani trek which also offer panoramic Himalaya ranges including Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Machhapuchhre (6997 m) and Dhampus peak, Nilgiri, Budhha himal, and many other wonderful peaks.
This trek is more distinct than other trekking areas, experience the typical Nepali village, local people and observe the living style of locals. Mainly you will see charming Gurung, Pun and Magar ethnic villages along the trails. If you are here we would like to recommend you to try some local food as well. In addition, this trekking trail is introductory route for encounter with the close Himalayas in the short time period.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport (TIA), meet our representative with name tag who will assist you transfer to the hotel. Have a short orientation about the trekking. Meet the guide and preparation about the trekking equipment. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Early breakfast at the hotel and meet the guide. Walk to the tourist bus station with your trekking guide. Tourist bus departs for Pokhara at 7 o'clock. Enjoy seven our scenic drive. The bus stops half an hour nearby highway restaurants on the way for lunch. You will reach Pokhara around 2 o'clock. Check in to hotel in Pokhara.
Have an early breakfast in the hotel. And drive Pokhara to Nayapul by private vehicle. This is the starting point of your trek.
After you reach Nayapul, you will start your trekking slowly. After 20-minutes walking along the Modi stream, you will reach at Birethanti - a beautiful village that has plenty of tea shops and guest houses. Then follow the left route through the village. Your trek continue heading to Ulleri following the bank of the Burungdi stream. You will climb slightly up to the valley of Hile (1495 meters) and Tikhedhunga (1525 m). The trail leads steep up to Ulleri (2073 m), a large beautiful Magar village. Ulleri is stopping point for today. O/n at mountain lodge
After breakfast you start your walking. Today the trail leads you to the Ghorepani, one of the popular destinations of Annapurna region situated at an altitude of 2856 meters. You should gently ascend up to Banthanti (2250 meters) through Oak and rhododendron forest. Then continue trek towards Ghorepani through Nangeythanti (2460 meters). Today you will walk approx 5 hours. O/ n at mountain lodge
Wake up early morning and climb Poon Hill (3,210m) for the mesmerizing sunrise over Himalayas. From this famous hill, you can observe the panoramic mountain views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu massifs. Hike back to Ghorepani and have breakfast.
After breakfast, continue downhill trek to Tadapani (2625 meter). The trail goes along the ridges of rhododendron and pine forest till the Tadapani. Overnight at mountain lodge
Today's trail descends to Kimrong stream through the forest of rhododendron. You then walk towards Chhomrong crossing through the Gurjung village. Chhomrong offers you close views of Mt. Annapurna south and Himchuli and the virgin peak, Fishtail (Machhapuchchhre). O/n at mountain lodge
Today you descend to Chhomrong stream and again climb up to Dovan (2505m) crossing through silent rhododendron forest. O/ n at mountain lodge
The trail continues accent to the Hinku Cave at 3150 m the risky area of the avalanche from Hiunchuli the period of monsoon until early October. From Hinku Cave the trail dives across a small ravine and straddles small climb you’re in Deurali at 3230 m. From Deurali trail flow the stream Modi Khola with spectacular view of Gangapurna and Machapurchhere to the Bagar(3300 m).The trail across the Modi Khoal and continue on the east bank before crossing back to the main track. The final accent through the rocky meadows trail to the Machapuchhre Base Camp at 3700 m. Evening beautiful sunset view west face of the Machhapuchhre. O/n at Mountain Lodge in Machhapuchhre.
From Machhapuchhre Base camp the trail climb steadily wide meadows three hour walking in thin air. We will recommend you to start trek little earlier as usual before the sun makes a warm the icy platform. The cloud is below until lunch so that the mountain views are incredible. After lunch you can climb for acclimatized and energetic up to the ridge of the southwest, on the moraine alongside the glacier drops from Annapurna south. After gaining height provide more spectacular mountain views in Annapurna sanctuary the Tharpu Chuli and Singu Chuli both trekking peak. To spend overnight in Annapurna base camp gives a different perspective to this great amphitheater of mountains. It is truly is a land of the magical make believe. After breakfast the trail accent to the Khuldi Jhar than few time up and down small hill through the thick forest you're in Sinuwa. From Sinuwa the trial steep decent to the stream. After crossing bridge the trail continuous accent stone staircase to the Chomrong village. After descending from high altitude is always relaxing and refreshing on body and mind. From Chomrong village the trail descend to the Jhinu Danda. The trail contour to the new bride. From new bridge the trail follow the Modi River through the rice paddy to the Kimche. Trek ends.
Drive to Nayapul via Syauli Bazaar. From Nayapul one and half hour drive to the Pokhara. O/n at hotel in Pokhara.
After breakfast walk to tourist bus station with trekking guide. Then set for Kathmandu. After reach in Kathmandu, you will be taken to your hotel at Kathmandu. Have a rest. In evening you can stroll around Thamel, the major tourist destination of Kathmandu. You can do some last minute shopping of souvenirs for your family and relatives. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey today is you’re the last day in Nepal. Our officer will come to meet you at your hotel to escort you to Kathmandu International Airport for final departure.
