2027 Chiang Mai CAD New Year Countdown event, on Dec.31 2026, the grandest way to celebrate the new year with thousands of lanterns lighting up the night sky with grand fireworks.
17:30 Arrival & Assembly. Meeting point: Central Chiang Mai Airport(in front of the Go Wholesale parking lot).
17:30–18:30 Transfer to the CAD Cultural Center Lanna.
18:30–19:30 Arrival and check-in. Show your e-ticket at the registration area and redeem your physical hanging badge.
18:30–21:30 Explore CAD Village, Lanna Ancient Market and enjoy Thai buffet dinner.
21:30–22:00 Move to the Pagoda Zone and join the ceremony.
22:00–23:30 Lanna Cultural Performances.
23:30–23:59 Countdown Preparation, Light & Sound Show, Sky Lantern Release.
00:00–00:30 Grand Fireworks Show and celebrate the arrival of 2027.
00:30–01:30 Transfer Back to Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, Maya Shopping Mall, or Central Chiang Mai Airport.

2. Pick-up Time: 17:00 PM

3. Please save a copy of your e-ticket to your phone or print it out. Guests are required to present e-ticket QR Code at the meeting point before joining the queue for the shuttle service.

4. The complimentary shuttle bus to the venue takes approximately one hour. The shuttle leaves every 5 minutes from 17:30pm to 18:30pm, and the last one departures at 20:00pm.
