In order to feel like a true Portuguese, you have to experience the BEAUTY of our country, but also learn our oldest CRAFTS!

This is a day where we'll not only tell you about, but also show you two of the crafts we have been the best at for centuries.

Begin by Learning about the process we use to paint the incredible tiles you see everywhere in our architecture, get a chance to paint a tile of your own and take it home with you!

After lunch in Setúbal where you can taste some of our best local food you will enjoy a guided visit through one of our best winecellars in the country and explore about the Portuguese wine manufactures while tasting some incredible wines!

Finish this incredible day by visiting the delicious Azeitão pies, our second best sweet, right after the famous Pastel de Nata, and learn about our pastry through tasting!

    Santuario Nacional de Cristo Rei

    Inspired by the famous Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, this gigantic statue opens its arms on the south bank of the Tagus. The 28m-high Christ figure, mounted on an 82m-high pedestal, was built by Francisco Franco in 1949-59 at the request of Prime Minister Salazar.

    Classified as a National Monument on June 16th, 1910, Sesimbra Castle is the last of the Castles on the sea, which have been well preserved until today. Sesimbra Castle is the last of the Portuguese castles on the sea to maintain its medieval architecture. It was classified as a National Monument on June 16th, 1910 and gathers several reasons for interest. Its walls have a unique view over the town and the sea.
