The greatest 3-day tour in the Atlas Mountains is the Guided Trek in Imlil and Hiking to Mount Toubkal. Remember that because there is more snow in the winter, you will need more time, and utilizing crampons and ice axes may be more difficult.

All treks are guided and overseen by local guides and mule handlers who have received extensive training and experience.

    Marrakech - Imlil - Toubkal Refuge

    Early in the morning, we take a short transport to Imlil, where we meet the mule driver (s). We began our trek with a magnificent ascent to Aremd, with terraced farms and irrigation channels, and then via the marabout Sidi Chemharouch to the Toubkal refuge at 3100m. Walking for 5 hours. The night was spent in a shelter.

    Toubkal Refuge (3100 M) - Ascent of Toubkal (4167m) - Back to Refuge

    The ascent of North Africa's highest mountain is not without hardship. Depart as soon as possible to take advantage of the morning's chill. The view stretches far from the peak of Toubkal (4167m). The mountain of Siroua, as well as the plain of Marrakech, can be seen. Descent and ascension. Afternoon free for tea and lunch at the shelter. 3H for the ascent. The descent begins at 2:30 p.m.

    Refuge of Toubkal - Imlil -Marrakech

    After breakfast, we gently descend the same mule road to the marabout Sidi Chemharouch (2250m), a venerated saint famed for the treatment of spiritual ailments (King of the Devils), under a white painted rock, for lunch at Imlil (1750m). They then return to Marrakech at 1 p.m. Duration: 4 hours walking/1 hour and 20 minutes driving.
