We’ll stop for a relaxing lunch break in Midelt, a town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas. Afterward, we continue our journey through the impressive Ziz Valley, passing dramatic gorges, palm oases, and traditional Berber villages as we head toward Errachidia and Erfoud, known as the gateway to the Sahara. By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, on the edge of the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes, where you’ll check into a comfortable hotel.
