We explore Fes El Bali which is the oldest part surrounded by a big wall and it is UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its medina is the largest in the world. Among its narrow streets and allies is the oldest university in the world . The University of Al-Karaouine was founded in AD 859 and it is still operating nowadays. Overnight in local riad.

Today our Tour from Casablanca continues and we visit the most famous Kasbah in Morocco, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. It is a fortified village and its Kasbah is situated in the hills along the Ounila River. Ait Ben Haddou has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Many films have been produced here including: The Mummy, Alexander and Babel.

Marrakech - Imlil Atlas Mountains Day Trip

Your visit begins with coverage in your hotel of Marrakech at 09:00 am. From there, you leave for an excursion of 5 hours in the Atlas Mountains. On the way, you will have a view on a variety of landscapes, mountain streams, Cliffs of rock colored, valleys and Berber villages. Visit the local souks to Tahanaout and Asni (Tuesdays and Saturdays), to have the opportunity to photograph these colored and traditional rural markets which are very livened up. Continue until Imlil, where you will take advantage of a view on hills overhanging the local villages. From there, you can choose a trek with back of mule through the countryside and the moved back villages, a hike through a ground so beautiful and visit the Kasbah of Toubkal where you can sit down, relax and have a lunch break. At the end of the visit, you will be transferred to your hotel in Marrakech.

We depart from Marrakech at exactly 08:00 am; our road will be filled with exuberant landscapes, reddish gorges, vast farms and ancient olive trees. Our first stop is at Chichaoua to rest and drink a cup of coffee in the Afoulki cafe. As you rejuvenate we’ll proceed. throughout the road you’ll notice some tall greenish trees that carry the essence of Argan oil , in case you haven’t heard , Argan oil is the most beneficial oil in the world as it serves for various domains such as medicine , cosmetics , nourishment …. It dates from the Tertiary age, and it only grows on Moroccan soil, especially in the south as a result it survives under the severe heat of this region. And now it become almost extinct it is under the protection of Enesco. As soon as we enter the city you’ll feel as you were taken back to the 18th century, here’s a fact in every step you make you’ll feel as you were in an ancient Portugal, as they turned this lively town to port for their trades and business. We’ll have a tour in its unique beach, ride camels, and have a delicious meal with fresh coming right away from sea. We’ll return back to Marrakech at around 7pm.
